In the past, I had convinced my parents to take me to see the first three ‘Star Wars’ movies at the theater, but ‘Star Trek’ was another story all together. My father, particularly, hated science fiction — he even fell asleep during ‘Ghostbusters’ — so my pleas to see ‘Trek’ in a theater fell on deaf ears.

The Official Star Wars Blog recently posted a press video from 1980, which features rare interviews with the cast and crew of ‘Empire Strikes Back.’ Some of the highlights include Harrison Ford discussing the possibility of ‘Star Wars’ sequels (Episodes 7, 8, and 9); director Irvin Kershner defending what was then considered ‘Empire”s controversial cliffhanger ending; and David Prowse, who played Darth Vader, not knowing about the end of the movie since George Lucas purposefully gave him a fake script (Mark Hamill was the only cast member who knew what was going to happen).
