0Carrie Underwood burst onto the music scene after winning the fourth season of American Idol and, aside from a short break to finish her Communications degree, the beautiful blonde has not looked back. After her incredible success with hits including “Jesus Take the Wheel” and “Before He Cheats” from her 2005 album, Some Hearts , some fans (and critics) were left wondering whether she could sustain her popularity. Filed under: TV News Carrie Underwood and Tony Bennett have booked ‘Blue Bloods’ guest roles. The Grammy winners will play themselves on the season premiere of the CBS police drama. Look for the duo to perform at a fundraiser that Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck) and Erin Reagan-Boyle (Bridget Moynahan) are attending in the new mayor’s honor.
