0Just yesterday Love Actually and Pirates of the Caribbean franchise star Bill Nighy joined the comic book adaptation of I, Frankenstein being directed by Stuart Beattie, of Tomorrow When the War Began , who also wrote the script based on a comic by Kevin Grevioux, co-creator of the Underworld franchise. Now Deadline has word that “Chuck” star Yvonne Strahovski , who hit the big screen earlier this year in Killer Elite , has landed the lead female role opposite Aaron Eckhart as the titular protagonist of the comic book adaptation. Aaron Eckhart Set to Lead Adaptation of ‘I, Frankenstein’ Comic Book
0Back in March we learned that Stuart Beattie, the screenwriter behind such films as Pirates of the Caribbean and Collateral and director of the hit Australian film Tomorrow, When the War Began , had been hired to sit in the director’s chair for Lakeshore Entertainment, Hopscotch Features and Lionsgate’s adaptation of the Darkstorm Studios comic I, Frankenstein . The story finds the iconic monster in a modern day setting now fully capable of controlling his anger and working as a private investigator, and Deadline has word that The Dark Knight star Aaron Eckhart has been set to take the lead role.
