During a recent interview with AOL’s The Boot , Shelton talked about how he got picked to cover the iconic title track by Kenny Loggins and the privilege that comes with it. As to how he went about tackling Loggins’ original, Shelton said: There are two ways to bring back a song: one is to try to make it your own, and in this instance, you have to remove yourself from it and step into the role of what’s best for the movie and that particular scene.
