Initially, we heard Benicio Del Toro was up for an unknown villain role in the film, and more recently conflicting thoughts on whether or not Del Toro would play iconic villain Khan Noonien Singh have been dominating the conversation

We’ve seen one U2-filled trailer for this so far, but this one has less U2 and more emotion , if you’ve got a heart you’ll be choked up by the end, that’s for sure

0Over the summer, we learned that explosive director Michael Bay would finally get behind the camera for his relatively low budget dark comedy Pain and Gain , the story of a couple of steroid-abusing knucklehead bodybuilders from Florida who become criminals involved in an extortion ring and a kidnapping plot that all goes horribly wrong. Now Variety has word on the frontrunners to lead the film with Dwayne Johnson and Mark Wahlberg , who both shared the screen briefly in The Other Guys , both being lined up

First Look: Andy Samberg & Rashida Jones in ‘Celeste & Jesse Forever’
0One of the first films on the Sundance 2012 line-up this year ( just announced today ) that I’m particularly excited about is Lee Toland Krieger’s Celeste and Jesse Forever , a romantic comedy co-written by actors Rashida Jones and Will McCormack, starring both as well. The Playlist napped a few first look photos, four so far, from the independent film, produced by Team Todd & Envision Media Arts. The photos show Andy Samberg as Jesse and Rashida Jones as Celeste, a divorcing couple trying to maintain their friendship while they pursue other people.
